Benni And The Jets!

Here's hoping that Zola has the courage to go 4-4-2 and that we take the game to Burnley. The reverse fixture at Upton Park showed that if you let Burnley have their head, they can be pretty tasty. It is imperative that we take the initiative and push Burnley onto the back foot. There is sure to be anxiety in their camp following the loss of a brilliant manager, and an early goal for ourselves could knock the stuffing out of them. Hopefully, Cole, Parker and Ilunga are all now fit and ready for take off so altogether now!

Hey kids, shake it loose together
The spotlight's hitting something
That's been known to change the weather
We'll kill the fatted calf tonight (Mido?)
So stick around
You're gonna hear electric music
Solid walls of sound
chorus
Say, Candy and Ronnie, have you seen them yet
But they're so spaced out, B-B-B-Bennie and the Jets
Oh but they're weird and they're wonderful
Oh Bennie she's really keen
She's got electric boots a mohair suit
You know I read it in a magazine
B-B-B-Bennie and the Jets
Hey kids, plug into the faithless
Maybe they're blinded
But Bennie makes them ageless
We shall survive, let us take ourselves along
Where we fight our parents out in the streets
To find who's right and who's wrong!

B-B-B-Bennie and the Jets!

Green, Faubert, Tomkins, Upson, Spector, Behrami, Parker, Noble, Collison, McCarthy, Cole. Subs: Stech, Mido, Illan, Kovac, Da Costa, Stanislas, Illunga ... I think we can win this :)

No Ilunga, interesting. Hope Spector is able to cope with Eagles.

What a depressing start.

What do you know about football Kareem?

Halftime & nothing much has changed then. Upson horrible. McCarthy not quite enough pace on the ball but cramped for space & good defending. Lots of long ball catching practice for their keeper. Let's see what Zola does. Not working so far is it.

Points dropped. Up until the last 25 minutes, pure, absolute, unadulterated crap. Disjointed & no ideas. I would have swapped the lot for a secondhand Ford Corsair. Stanislas made a big difference. Ilan took his chance, Mido was unlucky & Faubert put some good crosses in. We made Burnley look good until we remembered we were playing football. Get the stick out or play Scunthorpe next year. That's what i reckon.

Let's show him how we think he's getting on -

Is it time for Zola to go?

Did we really look awful yesterday?

or did we have lots possession, hit the post and hit the bar, had one amazilingly cleared off the line, a disallowed offside goal and forced their keeper into making some fine saves?

Vote for HammersFan and your glass will depressingly always be half empty.
