Franco Back!

Good news in one respect, but what does it say about Mido and Ilan? Clearly they have not set the training field alight over the last 10 days! Franco and Cole linked excellently until the injuries but neither is a natural goalscorer, whereas Ilan looks like he has the instincts of a fox in the box.

Here's hoping our front two have their scoring boots on this afternoon because our midfield, Diamanti apart, does not look full of goals!

Quick hammersfan, another comment about our midfield not scoring :)

1-0 West Ham! I'm so glad he didn't change the squad, apart from Franco replacing Mido, but we all know how well Franco and Cole worked together!

Even though I thought Behrami wasn't our best player like many fans on here and on the Org, I'm glad he scored. He seemed to have a few other good chances too. We have a strong bench too! Come on you Irons!

I gotta say i disagree hammersfan. My take on it is that west ham know what they will get with franco (who i think has been excellent by the way) while at the moment maybe zola feels the dury is still out on the other two. Mido at boro and spurs hardly set the world alight and ilan is still a little of an unknown quantity to some extent. In this situation i think it would be a risk to play someone like ilan or mido from the start. And i have noticed we are playing with, not alot, of width.
