Players To Join Fans In The Bar Of The Boleyn

Well Parker has blamed the edginess of the fans and Behrami has said that the players need to get their heads sorted out and give 100%, so how do we square the circle? Simples.

Instead of the players listening to Zola's tactical tosh before the game, I suggest they are taken into the bar at the Boleyn to hear the passion of the fans. Maybe they could climb up on the pool table and lead the singing of "There were ten German bombers", "I'll be running round Tottenham", "We 'ate Millwall" and "Stick the Blue Flag". After an hour of that, they would be so charged up that there's no way any away team would take the upper hand from kick off!

Better still, make them go into the bar AFTER the game as well! I bet that would focus the minds of the overpaid ponces. If they didn't sweat blood over the 90 minutes, they would taste it afterwards! Somehow, I think that Parker and Behrami might make it into the box more often, Diamanti would tackle back, Tomkins would learn how to concentrate and Upson might think about what the captain's armband actually means and accept responsibility for marking the opposition's danger man, rather than leaving Tomkins to mark Torres, Rooney and Davies!

Go on Scotty, I dare you! Go into the Boleyn at 5.30 p.m. on match day after a pathetic performance like Saturday's and announce, "Your edginess is upsetting us highly paid professional footballers"!

I didn't know drinking was so effective HF. Might even try it :)

On another note, ain't you going to give us the spoof version of the England security breach tape transcript?

Hammersfan said...

LOL Great minds Stani - but it won't be England!

Idiots that sing songs like Ten German bombers and songs that have the words "f****** Jew" in them are what's wrong with our fan base. I wish that we could be known for having a song for all of our players rather than mainly singing songs about other teams. And the people who sing them are normally the ones who are quick to boo our own players.

I can barely afford my season ticket as it is but I'd pay twice as much if it got rid of some of the scum that attend our games. Yes I'm aware that there's plenty of quality people who aren't like this at West Ham-sadly, "hammersfan" is clearly one of the scummier ones.

Wasn't you given it large a while back calling someone racist for cracking a bad joke? And then you write this...

"Hammersfan said...

Hammersfan has two thirds of a cock - he supports Tottenham!"

That sir is taking the piss out of a religion, throwned upon on the interwebz and probably by NewsNow.co.uk as they wont want to be associated with an author submitting such tosh.

In private maybe, fair enough in my eyes couldn't care less, but on the interwebz. tut tut.

LOL 2128, if only you knew! So now I'm one of the ICF leading the BNP wing of the Claret & Blue Klan! I'll tell you what mate, I was horrified to see a kid of about six in the bar singing those songs and, with a face full of hate, yelling "F*****G Jew!" He should be taken into care immediately!

No I don't approve of the songs. Nor do I approve of the Mido song. But there is no denying that the atmosphere is bloody charged in the Boleyn before the game. I don't approve of throwing things at people either but Ferguson uses it to good effect. All I am saying in the article is that there is no denying the passion of the fans. You might not like it, I might not like it, but it is there! The players should be in there to experience it!

I am sickened by that comment and hurt, my faith has been repeatedly mocked by this site. I've had enough and now complained to NewsNow.co.uk, history has put us through enough without having to deal with your racism!

Hammersfan said...

What comment? Dear me, do you not understand anything? I am opposed to the racism! Read it again with your brain engaged!

Hammersfan said...

LOL 2133, do for heaven's sake lighten up. I don't support Tottenham, that's the point! The joke is at the expense of the racists. But it's over your head or you just want to pretend otherwise.

Anonymous said...

So you don't approve of it in what is considered a public house, yet you yourselve use the similiarly veined jokes on a site that tens of thousands of people see.

I agree, it's wrong. But that didn't stop you mocking a faith without any regard what so ever for the possibly tens of thousands of viewers of this page.

Twisted, warped rationality shown yet again. "hey, I don't like it when I see it. So I do it" ??

Perfect sense there, and I'm glad someone has been offended in a way, perhaps your crap might get taken off NewsNow at long last as your, what you call, jokes are often underhand and clearly racist without doubt.

Hammersfan said...

If you like. That is why I have been the target of race hate for being part Jewish. I suppose you think Borat should be banned too?

Anonymous said...

@Hammersfan.

So you not only now offend my faith, your outright attack ones intelligence for being offended.

Why can you not just consider, you having not come from our faith may mean you do not realise how offensive your humour can be.

I would have just apoligise, but no, you just attack me further.

Anonymous said...

You dippy twat, Borrat is banned in many nations. F' me Tyrone.

Hammersfan said...

How have I attacked you further? I apologise if you were offended. were you offended by Borat? Cohen is, of course, Jewish.

Hammersfan said...

But Borat is not banned in this nation. That is what's known as freedom!

Anonymous said...

@Hammersfan.

What I have previously taken offense too doesn't concern you. This is here, and now.

Also, NewsNow receives hits globally. Not simply from the UK, in any event the fact remains that you held a racist undertone and then went on to personally attack me.

If freedom to you means you may openly be racist then so be it. Whats done is done.

You're part Jewish, that explains why half of you is driven by totals and figures.

Disclaimer: I'm partly Jewish so it's okay. MMM'kay pumpkin.

Hammersfan said...

LOL @ again! You don't give up do you @? Outraged from @! What a joke! So @ Roberto, did you just get a yellow card from Nev for upsetting Grumpy?

I enjoy it when HF cracks a joke at people and things. It's a laugh, perhaps he can teach people in this world to stop be so concerned about themselves.

it was a joke about your religion idiot not u personally!

Hammersfan said...

Yes, it might explain my grasp of stats. I am also a landlord. Any other stereotypes? Well I support West Ham, and we are now owned by David Gold.

Hammersfan said...

2210, it was a joke about my cock last time I looked! He is short and useless and never services the hens. Too busy crowing about Tottenham Hotspurrrssssss! ; }

You still haven't read the whole quotes I see HF? Still distorting the truth to suit your means? You are a joke, you really are.

How you persist with this nonsense only shows you up week by week to be a bigger and bigger moron with no self perception.

Take a look at yourself from time to time HF, or are you afraid of what you might see?

(awaits literal 'witty' response which avoids a direct answer)

Hammersfan said...

I am still puzzled Roberto. I look at myself regularly. I have read exactly what Parker said. I have also seen the Sunderland v Bolton result tonight. Edgy business playing Bolton Wanderers!

Noberto said...

Tonights result has nothing to do with what Parker said at all.

So you must have read that Parker openly admitted (twice) that the reason the crowd weren't fully behind the team was because the team didn't give them anything to go by? He said this twice as not to imply that the fans were to blame obviously, he was not blaming the fans as you have so blatantly put it in your original article.

Hammersfan said...

He was sharing the blame. What does Wrighty describe it as, a vicious circle? The blame lies with Zola and the players. They should not try to apportion it anywhere else.

Good post as always. I am Jewish and I have taken no offence. If I did I wouldn't run to news now I would just choose not to click on your links. Simple really.

Hammersfan said...

Cheers mate. The truth is, he isn't Jewish! If he was, he wouldn't be taking offence would he? With all that has happened, there is a sense of perspective! Which is how Cohen can come up with the outrageously antisemitic Borat.

Tell me this how come Bolton played so well when spurred on by barely 500 silent or so fans...Give us something to shout about and we will. As me and my sons sat there on Saturday as thousands poured out with 5 mins. to go people all around me were saying ' you can't blame them' and when we finally attacked (with less than 4 mins to go) we raised the roof. I forked out over a third of my weekly wage to watch that dross on Saturday and am then expected to do Zola's job of motivating the team. Too often this season Zola bemoans our slow start ...well who's words exactly should be ringing in their ears as they cross that white line for the kick off??? What is he exactly saying to them to go out and have a kick about but don't over do it lads!!! I'll carry on going, carry on forking out but don't expect full throated support until its deserved.

Robertohammer said...

The players should be giving their all every game irrespective of what anybodys paid or hasnt paid. Its not up to them to decide how hard they will try based on anything to do with fans or any other influence. The fact they are taking wages from the club is the only thing that should influenc anything.

Isaac said...

My lads tickets where free (it was an academy kids for free match) but I still feel cheated!!! And I am behind them 100% just don't like having the pi** taken out of me week in week out. It would be interesting to know how many of the voices on here who bemoan people for 'criticising' an underperforming team actually put 'their' hands in 'their' pockets and suffer the humiliation of losing to the likes of Bolton year in year out...Wigan,Burnley,B'Burn....try it and then keep coming back for more like I do but don't dare criticise 'cos that 'aint the West Ham way...well rolling over and letting the likes of Burnley and Wigan boss you around 'aint the West Ham way but it seems that is the ethos Zola has brought to the club...but I won't criticise 'cos Scotty Parker and a few don't like it....

The quote as full...

'I just felt that the crowd were a little bit restless and rightly so, because we didn't really give them anything to go on.

'When you're out there, it's always difficult, and when you feel the edginess of the fans - which was rightly so - it was always going to be hard. After a little while, although we kept digging in, it became increasingly difficult.

'It was a very frustrating afternoon. It was a poor result and a poor start from us. We didn't come out of the blocks at all, started the game really badly and a couple of individual errors cost us.

---

doesn't sound like he's sharing the blame, he's admitting they were to blame, and just saying that it was made harder because they couldn't inspire a better atmosphere.

there is nothing wrong with what Parker said.

Hammersfan said...

No I agree.

Hammersfan said...

Trouble is, Isaac who shells out a third of his salary to watch his heroes disagrees. I know Isaac travels the length and breadth of this country supporting West Ham. Perhaps Parker should take more care with his words. I have more sympathy with Isaac than with Parker personally.
