To go back to an earlier point; I'm surprised that you justify the board's treatment of Grant on the basis that "that's how other boards treat their managers". Surely on that basis we're all justified in having extra marital affairs, fiddling our tax returns and parking in "disabled" bays? As regards Gold being a fan; I dare say he is. But at the point he accepted that a running track had to stay around the Olympic stadium it was quite clear that he is business man first and fan second.
Don't think it is comparable mate. Mind you, I think you woulld struggle to find many - especially in the East End and Essex overspill - who haven't fiddled expenses, kept something quiet from the taxman and / or played an away game or two when the wife wasn't watching. Being a saint myself, I have never done anything wrong of course, but I ma RARE!
However, I did once drive round to somebody's house to dismiss her from a job because, next day, she would have been entitled to job protection due to length of service. Wanted her out and did what was necessary to save the company money and any messy legal issues. She went to a solicitor next day and was told she didn't have a leg to stand on. All's fair in business!
As for the running track, that's how we trump Spurs. Without it, we don't have a USP.

Why don't you learn to moderate yourself? this is nonsensical and a waste of space, try adopting the quality over quantity approach.
