Parker Out Of Crucial Villa Game

It never rains but it pours. Scotty hasn't looked right since the England game against Wales and now we know why. He is struggling with an Achilles injury and has been ruled out of the game with Villa.

Who steps in? I would go 4-4-2 personally, with Boa on the left and O'Neil on the right but don't be surprised to see 4-3-3 with Kovac holding. Yes Kovac. Remember him? Lumbering, blond, useless...

To be honest mate, this is the perfect chance for Collison to get at least a half of first team football. Yes he's not finished a reserves game, but he's gotta get some first team football at some point this season. I think it'll be Hitz/Noble/O'Neil though.

Too early for Collison I fear.

Time for Noble to step up? There is a view him and Parker cannot play together effectively. Now is his chance.

What about Super Johnny Spector?

i still dont think it would be that bad as parker has started forgetting where his job should be again and boa are you serious there is no point of having a work horse in the team if he is just going to pass to the wrong team over and over again

I knew the England call up would eventually kill us.

Doomed.

I may have to watch baseball again.

I say 4-4-2 with Cole and Keane up front. Let Ba be a late replacement. In the middle......I guess Boa. But how about Barrera? It's a gamble anyway, no matter who the he'll plays. So why not see what the fcuk happens?

We've flirted with relegation for so many years it's obvious that it's our time.

I really hope it's a 4-4-2 with Hitz and Spector in the middle with O Neil and Obinna on the wings! It sounds stupid..but Spector did alright when he was playing in midfield...then we can play Ba and Keane in their proper positions...but alas that wouldn't happen..

We should've been playing 4.4.2 all season anyhow, with the exception of some 4.5.1 against teams like ManUre and ARSEnal and some selected away fixtures where a point would have been a solid result. I dunno why Grant persists with trying to fit a square peg into a round hole by sticking with this 4.3.3 shite. Nearly all, no, sod it, ALL of our strikers fit well into a two man attack, and with our usual dirth od midfielders it seems clear to me that our squad as a whole lends itself well to a 4.4.2, either flat or with a diamond midfield. Tactics and team set up have cost us dearly this season. Grant's been a gentleman this season but his decisions leave me more often than not either speachless, teary or screaming at the telly or from the BML.

For me:

Ba Cole

Obinna Hitz Noble O'Neill

or

Obinna Cole Piq

Hitz Noble O'Neill

Ba to come on 2nd half if 442 - really no need to see Boa Morte, Spector or Barrera.

Fingers crossed Barrera will still have his day but not until next season. I wouldn't put Collison on the bench at this stage of his come back.

Now that Spector's "Lionel Messi" brain washing experience has warn off I think we can leave him away from the first team.
