Allardyce Goes Offensive!

Well there's a shock. It is 4-3-3, but it is truly 4-3-3 rather than 4-5-1!

Taylor switches to left back, something I have been calling for for some time, and Vaz Te comes in instead of Nolan. Tomkins continues to anchor midfield, but we could even set up 3-5-2 with the personnel selected, with Taylor and O'Brien bombing up the flanks.

The surprise team reads:

Green

O'Brien, Faye, Reid, Taylor

Tomkins

Noble    Collison

Faubert                     Vaz Te

Cole

On the bench are  McCartney, Lansbury, Baldock, Maynard and O'Neil so there is scope to change the shape there too.

It's an odd game to change things so dramatically but I'm not complaining!

Maynard scored a couple of goals against the saints at Bristol City they must fear him so why leave him out? He is obviously raring to go and impress why not cash in on this?

Taylor is one of my favorites in our squad....for the first time, apart from scoring against in the past, Matty Taylor has actually disappointed me. My heart just dropped... COYI

For senior player's Nolan and Taylor show very little discipline. Doesn't team success come before their personal little spatts
