And now, with a vital game against Man Utd on the horizon and the game already lost against Arsenal, Scotty gets himself a second yellow three minutes before the end of the game! Derr Scotty!
And why did he do it? Because he can't help himself. Because Scotty plays with his heart but not his head. Because Scotty is the Scarecrow of White Hart Lane. Because Scotty is loveable but brainless.

He is not a holding midfielder, who said he was? he breaks up play and distributes the ball....... Your football knowledge shines once again.
He broke up the Arsenal play superbly didn't he? And as for distributing the ball, he doesn't do it in dangerous areas does he?
Who cares what Scott Parker does? He is a Tottenham player. He demanded to leave our club and I, for one, have no interest in his career anymore. He can join the ranks of the likes of Paul Allen, Paul Ince and Jermain Defoe as players who deserted us

After an injury prone start, Scott Parker stood out at West Ham in his last three years at the club. After a promising run early last year we sank like a stone when he was injured- that was no coincidence. He carried the team, in a way no one has in the top since Gerrard carried a poor Liverpool team a few years back. Van Persie's been doing much the same this season.
Please feel free to try to justify your opinion of him by seizing on random isolated incidents, but you won't convince those who voted him Hammer of the Year 3 years in a row or Football Writers Player of the Year that he's anything other than a very good player.
Because of who he went to I wish his performances had gone downhill but they haven't. He's as good a shout as anyone for England captaincy.

You have to laugh! All those going overboard about Parker - even calling for him to captain England - might like to pause, think and reappraise." I deal with your point at the beginning of the article! People believe what they read and the Scotty campaign has been running for two years now. My point is, his true colours are beginning to show!

HF- it must give you an enormous sense of satisfaction knowing that once again you are the only one to see the obvious. West Ham fans including myself are wrong, the football writers are also inexplicably blinkered and now England supporters have fallen for the same scam too.
Never mind- keep plugging away and one day the footballing world will thank you for opening it's eyes for them.
