Another Amazing Olympics Gaff!

Why the hell was a sample of Enola Gay played in the opening ceremony? What was Danny Boyle saying to the Japanese exactly? Remember Hiroshima?

I liked the Bangladeshi flag bearer almost decapitating the little girl carrying the petal.

Haha, I notice this thread has no hits, but mention leeds (not worth the upper case) & blaaaam, they're on you like a fat kid on a cup cake. . .

Maybe you should've explained to them something about the connection, then they could've connected it to their sad club somehow & blaaaaam, they're back on board. . .
Anything to take their minds of what's going on in their own back yard ay!! lol

Hope you & yours are well Fanno

Why were the announcements at the opening ceremony being made in French first and then English? Surely not an EU directive.Personally found it very annoing.
I think it very decent of you HF to give on a regular basis the Leeds fans an outlet for their obvious pent up aggressions. It must be hard for them supporting a once great club that would now appear to be crumbling into obscurity.

it is amazing how few WHU fans comment on this blog. Then you stick a photo containing the word "gay" and suddenly they're all coming out.

Coincidence i'm sure.

Just to explain how things work.

If it ain't got the word Leeds in the title/content it doesn't show up on NewsNow. Therefor those looking for Leeds news are blissfully unaware of this blag. Sorry, blog.

This blog needs West Ham in the title because NewsNow acceptance criteria require that you are not just a general football blog, those are ten-a-penny, so if you set up with a niche market in mind, they're happy.

Now this may be a surprise to some, well you at least OSP, but HF knows full well where the most hits are gonna come from so he writes "articles" about Leeds. The style in in which they are written. I.E. with offence intended (factually correct or not). Culminates without fail with a bobarment of "hits".

Quite why these hits are necessary is a moot point. There are evidently no adverts on the blog itself so a cloak of just for fun / it's my opinion and your welcome to it is adorned.

One has to wonder quite why, if there is no fiscal gain to be made, someone can gain so much satisfaction in machine-gunning out article after article about a subject they have no direct affinity for. I actually hope there is some driving force behind all the effort put in to antagonise. 'Cos if this truely is just to read a whole load of semi-illiterates call you all the names under the sun then it is a very sad state of affairs indeed.

Once you're on NewsNow it appears you can then pro-actively troll your way to hit stardom by any means necessary. It makes for a kind of sick entertainment of which I accept I am a part of by contributing. But sometimes you have to look into minds of others to appreciate your own sensibilities. Actually entrapping people however, in order to reconcile your own moral demons is, in my opinion, the last vestige of the sad & lonley.

Keep it up HF. I feel better about myself all the time.

It's that bad, but here you are, & taking quite an interest it would seem. . .

You've made me smile Anon, but you're too busy talking, & being you, to know why :)
