Lee Clark has opted for youth and ability, taking young Hall to St Andrews to team up with Ravel Morrison, whilst Old Big Gob has gone with the tired and tested, adding two more old nags to his stable of "fit for the knacker's".
Time will tell which policy will prove the more successful. Of course time was when Leeds fans would have been furious that a provincial Welsh club like Swansea were in a position to improve the Leeds squad by loaning out a reserve.
